[Personality]
We are the Forsaken. We will find our own place in this world and slaughter anyone who stands in our way.
The leader of the Forsaken, Lady Sylvanas Windrunner, is likely one of the greater tragedies to befall Azeroth. Suffering in death and undeath at the hands of Arthas Menethil, the undead queen is outwardly cold, quiet, calculating, manipulative, and very powerful. A tactical leader, she commands the Forsaken neither through fear nor control, as she has earned their undying loyalty time and time again. She is vocal in her disdain for certain individuals, as those who have not earned her respect are unworthy of it.
Her loyalty to the other races of the Horde is forged of convenience, while she remains a staunch supporter of Warchief Thrall, many are wary as to when this may change. Especially when one remembers the events at Wrathgate; though Putress had gone rogue, it didn’t change the fact Sylvanas had overseen the creation of the contagion and authorized its use against the Scourge. Outside the necessity of her allegiances, very little kept the Banshee Queen in check.
Since her release from the former Lich King’s control, Sylvanas began her own machinations. She would lead the Forsaken, give them a place to sharpen their blades for the time when they may exact their revenge on Arthas. Words of honor have no place with the Queen. Tactics such as poisons and chemical warfare are not below her, and are in fact preferable in insuring victory for her forces. Deceit and double-crossing are tools common of Sylvanas, though she herself has little in terms of mercy for those who show her the same courtesy. The betrayers suffer greatly at her hands before she ultimately disposes of them. Those who stand in her way are granted even a swifter death.
What remains of her former life is buried deep beneath her own coldness and lust for revenge. Her loyalties to Silvermoon remain, offering the newly rekindled sin’dorei aid in troops and provisions as they pushed back Scourge forces that still tainted their land as well as secure them a place within the Horde. Though, this loyalty only goes so far once war on Arthas is declared, as she was just as willing to withdraw the same support when Lor’themar Theron was hesitant on sending his own forces. Sylvanas never forgets the past: hatreds, loyalties, even loved ones, each have their time and place. The warmer memories have little in both. Her need for revenge on Arthas is all-consuming, as when he does eventually fall, Sylvanas is left with a gaping emptiness. Many view what the Forsaken are as a curse. Sylvanas included. Denied the release of death, they were shackled to a world that in turn denies them. Without revenge, what would they have?
[Specialties/Abilities]
Ranger | Regarded as the best shot in Azeroth, Sylvanas is highly skilled with a bow and arrow. She never misses a target, and when she does it’s deliberate. In close combat, she wields two short swords that are just as deadly. She’s able to track a target and blend into the woods.
Poisons | A very skilled practitioner. She’s able to create most poisons, many of them very deadly to the right target.
Undeath | Sylvanas is an undead elf as well as a faction leader. While it is possible to kill her, the ways are very few and very difficult. Magic, especially light magic, is very effective. Falling from insanely high and landing on the ground as a pile of gore is also very effective. But as far as stabbing, slashing, or piercing weapons go, those can be brushed off easily. Stab her a few hundred times? That might work.
Banshee | She retains control of her own body, but Sylvanas’s actual form is that of a Banshee. Because of this, she can commune with other spirits as well as leave her body and possess another, living or dead. Why she doesn’t do this regularly is pretty obvious: while she’s off, her body is little more than a lifeless husk that someone could easily come and tamper with.
Willful | Though her body was under the Lich King’s control for a time, Sylvanas’s mind was always her own. Her will is nearly unbreakable, so simple mind control will not work on her.
[Affection] Before she stabs you in the side?
[Fighting] Unless they want to die horribly, it's not a smart idea to pick fights with the Banshee Queen. Because she will use every underhanded way to make sure she wins that bout. She's not about to go around starting fights either, only if they serve a purpose to her.
[Other Permissions] No telepaths cannot read her mind. Just goes with her will. 4th walling is alright, but I would like permission first.
[Other Facts] She has a lovely singing voice?
